THE PAWTWILL NOTEBOOK
Fit & comfort
The pet comes before the outfit
Some pets are comfortable wearing clothing; others are not. Their response matters more than completing a look. Choosing no outfit is always an option, including on a birthday or other special day.
What a concept cannot show
An AI image can suggest a visual direction. It cannot establish whether a garment fits, moves comfortably, stays secure or is appropriate for a particular pet. Fabric, fastenings and finished construction need their own checks. A convincing image is not evidence of a tested garment.
Measurements need a purpose
For a future garment, measurements would need to follow instructions for that specific design. Neck, chest and back measurements may be relevant, but there is no single universal size chart. Breed and weight alone cannot establish fit, and measurements may need checking again as a pet grows or changes.
We do not yet have tested Pawtwill product size charts. You do not need to send measurements to browse concepts or ask a general question.
Look for freedom to move
- Clothing should not restrict normal movement, breathing or toileting.
- Check how a garment interacts with essential walking equipment. A decorative outfit should not be treated as a tested restraint or harness.
- Look for fastening or decorative details that could snag, be chewed or come loose.
- Consider the surroundings and temperature, rather than assuming an outfit is suitable because it looks lightweight or cozy.
Watch how they feel
Supervise wear and remove clothing if the pet appears uncomfortable, overheated or distressed. Do not force a pet to keep wearing an outfit for a photo. If a health concern makes you unsure whether clothing is appropriate, ask your veterinarian.
Our custom service is still being developed. Read how the planned process works or ask a general question. These notes explain what needs attention; they do not certify any concept as safe or suitable.
